Lesson of the week: "The Art of Confrontation" {more like "The ACT of Confrontation"} Found myself freaking out about some stuff then avoiding to deal with it till the very last minute :o Realized that I can save myself from lots of anxiety with these simple tips ;) 1) Let your yes be yes and your no be no... and your I don't know be, well, I DON'T KNOW! :D The faster you admit to #1 the faster you'll arrive at a position of receiving solutions... If you try to move forward while pretending to know (or pretending you don't care) you're actually setting yourself back coz you still need to arrive at the acknowledgement of your real stance... {that's if you're after real solutions :p }. And then 2) IT'S OKAY NOT TO KNOW - There's no shame in admitting ignorance, folly is only found in denial and cover up... but there's room to bloom =) Coming out is both brave and liberating. Plus God already knows that you don't know so you aint hiding so what's the point? lol. So yeah coming out is agreeing with God and, yes, coming into partnership with Him in the solution-making. 3) Patience. Yes WAIT! for the solution. There's no point of brooding over the problems, the problems can maintain themselves very well but the focus is WHAT TO DO, what's OUR ROLE? ... So at this point, God's like You're not alone so there's no need to be frantic and feel powerless... That's like really good to know coz there's no point in fighting battles that can't be won or that aren't ours to fight... This "Wait" thing is actually really strategic
